The name "Tallboys" runs deeper than it looks. At 6'5", owner Sam Hawco's stature was more than just a physical trait, it was an advantage that helped make him a standout competitive Goalkeeper in soccer at both the provincial and national level.
In sport, discipline isn't just personal, it's what holds a team together. The structure, the accountability, the commitment to showing up every single day and doing the work. That's what separates good from great. Sam carried that same team mentality when he built Tallboys.
The team at Tallboys brings that same discipline to the chair. Every barber holds themselves to a standard built on precision, respect, and consistency, because great cuts, like great teams, don't happen by accident.

"I’ve been trying to get a walk‑in haircut in the Paradise area for days (appointments and my schedule mix about as well as oil and water), and had absolutely no luck… until I found this place. They got me in right away, set me up with a young lad who delivered a perfect skin fade, and treated me like royalty. They even offered me a drink from the on‑site bar — classy move, boys. I’ll definitely be back. High rating from me, and I strongly recommend giving them a try. And please, fellas… keep taking walk‑ins. It means a lot to those of us who live life in “organized chaos” mode. It’s wild how few places around here take walk‑ins. Let’s see that change 😉 Thanks, fellas — fantastic job."
